Annual Vacation Reading Program
We’re talking about the good ole’ Summer Readin’ Club! We can always use an extra pair of hands with programs. If you like kids and books, you’ll love this!

Be a Guest Reader for Children’s Programs

Adopt-a-Shelf
Help keep our library neat and orderly by adopting a shelf to straighten.

Valdosta Lowndes County Library

The Valdosta-Lowndes County Library welcomes volunteers from 12 years old and up. Volunteers that are 12-15 years old will need to be accompanied by a parent or guardian for supervision.

We need help with shelving, helping patrons use the computers, doing genealogy research, telling stories at story time, helping with special programs, or helping take care of our plants.  We are happy to have you volunteer 5 minutes or 5 hours of your precious time.
